  1. Here's one of my favourite tests. I call it the "Bathroom Test". When you're taking a shower, and the window or mirror mists up, scrawl your logo on it with your finger. If you can make it out, you've landed on something that works. I did this accidentally once and sorta formalised it as a test. The test also helps to see recall value. How much of the idea can I recall?

  2. One thing about Apple's logo, though, is that they atarted out trying to make and sell computers to and for schools. Apples (the fruit) are associated with teachers, therefor a company trying to get clients who are educators would want a logo that represents that.

    They have since become much bigger than that and branched out, but you have to remember where the idea for the apple and the company's name came from to begin with.

    There is a whole fukin universe in my brain and I wonder if any other person do.
    I always think to be a trillionaire.
    Having a company "ARC" which is a group in itself.
    Being the top in any sector, steel,coal, cloths, renewable energy, infrastructure, cars, digital devices, defence, farming, charity, huge constructors, etc. Like literally every fucking field.
    Owning the largest companies in the world and their parent company named "ARC".
    Every second product on this planet will be mine.

  4. Some great tips. I would point out that the test of cutting a logo in half, blurring it, etc. and it still being recognizable only works for companies like SONY and Target because they've already establish brand recognition over decades of marketing. So keep in mind that when creating a logo for a new business, no one knows who they are, what they represent, or what they do, so simplicity and clarity is even more important.

I am launching a new brand, and have been working on a suitable logo for the brand for months, whilst already in production just getting the product to market, but i have been procrastinating going full market launch because Im stuck on my logo and branding, its holding me back, and i am losing time. Your information here gives me a litle more confidence and direction in what i should do now.

  7. I highly disagree with your blur and half slice trick.
    Because it depends on the productivity of company.
    If a company is securing a good position in WTO, the logo(face) is known and remembered most.

    For example, in a crowdy place, a son can recognize his mother with hijab by her eyes.
