Honestly, I have yet to figure out the answer to your question myself. All I can say is that there are still a lot of AIGA things you can participate in without being a member (events, mentorship, blog/newsletter access, etc). If you need to access their job dashboard for any reason that might be worth paying for.

The discount on Adobe was good. The group insurance was decent if you are freelance. There are some other perks that make it worth it. If you join I would say it’s worth getting involved in your local chapter. That’s a fast lane to getting into good jobs.
