I attempted to do this with my first time opening illustrator and I struggled hard, tapering the lines broke me, one side would taper but the other side wouldn't, I dunno if your hitting command keys or doing things in between without mentioning but I'm definitely starting at square one, how to draw a line. brb

I did copy paste there 3 Color layers, removed the extremities… but now i don’t understand how come when he reduces the transparency of the oval, the left shadow stripe also changes color? 😅 thank you for your help 🙏🏽 amazing tutorial btw

6:08 i don't understand why you past in place two times to make the shadow. one time is enough, no ? Because then you've got three elements whereas two is visible : the two colors of red.
